Overview
I designed the end-to-end MVP experience for Walmart Logistics Services, a platform enabling enterprise clients to manage inventory, shipments, orders, and logistics operations across non-Walmart eCommerce channels using Walmart's supply chain infrastructure.
Project Snapshot
Role:
Principal Product Designer and Design Systems Lead
Team:
Product Management, Engineering
Platform Type:
Enterprise SaaS / Marketplace Platform
Users:
Enterprise sellers, Operations and logistics managers, Finance and admin users, Warehouse and supply chain coordinators
Opportunity
Walmart Multichannel Solutions enterprise clients needed a unified way to manage inventory, shipments, orders, and logistics operations across non-Walmart sales channels routed through third-party (3PL) warehouses. Without one, clients navigated fragmented interfaces, disconnected tools, and manual coordination with no real-time visibility into their supply chain.
The result was shipment delays, inventory imbalances, and operational errors that threatened fulfillment reliability, profitability, and competitive standing for large enterprise accounts.
Solution
As principal product designer, I owned the end-to-end UX for the WLS platform, spanning eight interconnected flows and a shared design system. I led the design from discovery through delivery, establishing information architecture, and aligning stakeholders across product, and engineering. The core design challenge was creating a single, cohesive experience that served the operational complexity of large enterprise clients, from first-time onboarding through day-to-day inventory and logistics management, while building the foundational component library that would scale across future WLS products.
Home and Onboarding
Single entry point experience guiding clients from account creation through business setup, with a personalized home dashboard providing a live view of operations and a prioritized checklist to get clients live quickly.
